ASSASSIN: 'Legendary' Collaboration With MAYHEM Posted Online

February 7, 2008

Reactivated German thrashers ASSASSIN have posted the song "Satan Dies In Pain" on their MySpace page. This track is taken from the legendary session demo tape CHECKERPATROL, featuring members of ASSASSIN and MAYHEM (Norway) plus Jon of Slayer magazine, recorded in ASSASSIN's rehearsal room back in the mid-'80s.

ASSASSIN recently posted its first official video, for the song "Assassin", featuring live footage shot during 2005-2007. Watch it below.

As previously reported, ASSASSIN is featured on the benefit compilation "Operation: United Forces" along with such bands such as H8 INC, CAUGHT IN A TRAP, GORILLA WARFARE, WISDOM IN CHAINS, SICK OF SOCIETY, NORMAN BATES & THE SHOWERHEADS and OBSCENE GESTURE. The cover artwork was created by the "brilliant" Craig Holloway. More information is available at this location.

ASSASSIN is busy writing and recording material for its next CD. The band is looking for a new record label to release the new album as well as to reissue the classic LPs "The Upcoming Terror", "Interstellar Experience" and "The Club".
